Here at Tantalizing Stitches, 5% of sales are allotted for donation to our favorite animal charity. Due to the fire catastrophe at the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society, Tantalizing Stitches will be dedicating this portion to BEBHS for the months of May and June. This applies to all sales at http://bagnsupplies.com . As a San Jose business and a Cal alum, El feels a special need to help BEBHS.

September EFA Challenge is Up
The September EFA Challenge theme is “Back to School.” Check it out and enter. Or wait for the results. It should be a fun mix of items that all help out some animal organization.

The Crafted With Love organization donates 100% of its profits to non-profit animal organizations. Of course I just had to donate some of my crochet. So, take a look around, especially at the flower hair pin and Grammy’s Watermelon Tropical Flower Brooch. Also, I’ll be directing customers who are interested in my Grammy’s Watermelon Tropical Flower Brooch in my etsy store to kindly purchase the ones at Crafted with Love.
New Yahoo Group
I’ve created a yahoo group for Etsy For Animals (“EFA”). If you are an EFA member, you are welcomed to join the group. If you are not an EFA member, but would like to become one, attempt to join the group and your request will be sent to the EFA curator, mvegan5.
Help From PAWS
PAWS has helped in paying for half of the veterinarian bills for the two puppies, which is a big help. My goal, however, is to raise enough funds to return that portion to the organization so I have left the campaign bar for the entire amount.
Crafted With Love
Crafted with Love is an organization that solicits donations of original handmade items, which they sell. The proceeds are donated to certain no-kill shelters. They currently specialize in jewelry but they accept any artform. As soon as I can find something to suit the gallery, I will donate my crochet! Its a great way to promote your art while helping out animals in need.
EFA Treasury
Michele of mvegan5 created an EFA Treasury and it currently includes my Blue Tulucia Machika Cloche. In celebration, Tantalizing Stitches will donate 50% of all crochet sales (instead of the usual 15%) during the duration of the treasury. Just mention the EFA treasury during checkout.
Tantalizing Stitches Online!
Tantalizingstitches.com is now online and ready for business! In celebration of its grand opening, Tantalizing Stitches is giving away a matching crocheted flower with the first ten leis purchased.
In addition, 15% of all crochet sales are donated to help the puppies.

Puppies Friday Update
The puppies are growing and gaining spasmatic energy by the minute. They just need a home in Saipan! Just look how cute they are!
Look at this ‘before’ picture. Their health has improved so much with the help of proper nutrition, medical attention, and antibiotics. So far, $5.55 has been raised to pay the veterinary bill. Please help by donating or buying crocheted items at my etsy store. 100% of all donations and 15% of all sales of crocheted items will go toward their bill.
My First Sale on Etsy!
I checked my email Monday morning, Saipan time, and found an email indicating that I sold Grammy’s Rosy Cloche and a matching brooch on etsy. I was so excited that I couldn’t think. It feels great to know that someone will enjoy an item that I have personally made. It also feels great to know that the puppies are just that much closer to getting their veterinarian bill paid. Browny’s fur is growing in great and the both of them are eating like wolves. Pretty soon they will be ready to go home to a lovely family and enjoy new found happiness.
